Each week, our field and social workers identify impoverished children in need of surgery within Lebanon's refugee camps and Jordan. These children are unable to receive care due to their financial hardships and lack of access to treatment. We collaborate with numerous hospitals to secure reduced prices and provide excellent care for these children, enabling them to live healthier and better lives. Through this program, thousands of children have received sponsorship and life-changing treatment.
Zaheer
10-year-old Zaheer is a Syrian refugee from Homs living in Lebanon. He was suffering from Cholesteatoma in the right ear, he underwent surgery by Dr Marc Basim at Northern Hospitalization Center. PCRF covered nearly all of his surgery costs through our one-time surgery program.
Jana
Jana is a three-year-old Syrian refugee from Homs who was suffering from Aphakia. PCRF sponsored her lens implantation surgery by Dr Fadel Elhasan at New Mazloum Hospital.
