Join PCRF Atlanta’s 5K Walk/Run during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness and vital funds for children in Palestine who are courageously battling cancer.
Every September, the world honors children fighting cancer during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This year, PCRF Atlanta is joining that global effort by standing with children in Palestine, where the battle against cancer is made even harder by war, blockade, and a collapsing healthcare system.
Through this 5K Walk/Run, we're raising awareness and critical funds to ensure children have access to the care they need even in the most difficult conditions.
Your support helps sustain the Huda Al Masri Pediatric Cancer Department at Beit Jala Hospital, a facility providing chemotherapy, comprehensive medical care, therapeutic nutrition, psychosocial support, and remedial education to children in need, your support will also help rebuild and operate the Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Pediatric Cancer Department and the surrounding Pediatric Specialized Hospital of which were destroyed during the 2023 attacks. This was Gaza’s only pediatric oncology unit, and restoring it is critical to providing life-saving treatment to children who currently have nowhere to turn.
By joining PCRF Atlanta’s 5K Walk/Run, you're not only honoring children during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, you're helping to deliver real care, rebuild what’s been lost, and bring hope where it’s needed most.
Space is limited, so please register online to secure your event t-shirt. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM, and the walk will start promptly at 9:30 AM. Join us afterward at the Main Lawn for Dabkeh, where light.
