A POWERFUL UNITY: “RAJIEEN,” a musical collaboration that brings together 25 Artists from the MENA region in a resolute display of solidarity and protest for Palestine.

As a direct response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the unwavering struggle of the Palestinian population, 25 exceptionally talented artists hailing from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region have united to present "Rajieen," an anthem that transcends boundaries, embodying resilience and resistance.
Under the executive production of Nasir AlBashir, Jordanian producer and multi-instrumentalist, and with additional production from Egyptian singer-songwriter & producer Marwan Moussa and producer Amr Shomali, this track is poised to ignite a worldwide call for justice and unity, underscored by unwavering protest.
In a striking demonstration of solidarity, artists from across the MENA region gathered at Levant Studios in Amman. Simultaneously, other artists participated remotely in recording and filming, collectively crafting a message of hope and unwavering perseverance with the help of regional director Ahmed Kwifiya. This collective voice spoke on behalf of Palestinian artists who, facing the imminent threat of repercussions from the Israeli occupation, could not lend their voices.
Participating artists contributing their voices to “Rajieen'' include Saif Safadi, Dana Salah, Ghalia Chaker, Afroto, Nordo, Saif Shroof, Akhras, Issam AlNajjar, Amir Eid, Balti, Wessam Qutub, Dina Wideidi, Bataineh, Omar Rammal, Yung, Randar, Vortex, Small X, ALA, Fuad Gritli, Donia Wael, Zeyne, Marwan Moussa, Marwan Pablo, and Dafencii.
The initiative was set in motion and organized by a team of creatives and visionaries, including Nasir AlBashir, Palestinian-Jordanian writer and actor Hayat Abu Samra, Jordanian creative director Farah Hourani, Reem Kanj, co-founder of Ego & East Talent Management, Founder of Beirut Records & International Artist Manager Hiba Abou Haidar, Libyan director Ahmad Kwifiya and Palestinian filmmaker Omar Rammal.
“Rajieen” was crafted with the intention of following the path of legendary compositions such as "We Are the World" and "The Arab Dream." Yet, it offers a contemporary reinterpretation, echoing the struggles and emotions of our era, seamlessly fusing elements of hip-hop, rap, Arabic backbeats, and soulful ballads.
The music video was shot at the Olive Wood studios, Amman’s newest film studios, and was directed by Omar Rammal and Hayat Abu Samra with creative direction under Farah Hourani.
“Raijeen” is a powerful and uncompromising composition that serves as a testament to music's transformative potential to ignite change and capture the world's gaze amid urgent global concerns. All proceeds generated by this track will be committed to supporting the Palestine Children's Relief Fund and the Middle East Children's Alliance.
