The Huda Al Masri Humanitarian Award honors members in our local communities who carry forth Huda's spirit of service and humanity. For seventeen years, Huda helped thousands of children and built PCRF from 2002 to her untimely and tragic passing from cancer in 2009. Huda was an inspiring social worker and hosted many sick children as they were treated abroad and is a symbol of the spirit of the courageous Palestinian woman.

The Dr. Musa & Suhaila Nasir Humanitarian Award honors two monumental leaders in PCRF's long history. They helped to get PCRF started and were long-time board members who also built our Southern California chapter. In addition, the Nasir's hosted sick and injured children in their home in Los Angeles. The award recognizes volunteer healthcare providers in our communities who share the Nasir's devotion, empathy, and care to the welfare and health of injured and sick children treated through PCRF. The award embodies Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir's true humanitarian spirit of service and dedication.
