The PCRF Houston Chapter is delighted to host this Walk to Heal fundraising event in support of the Gaza Amputee Project.  This project began in 2019 to help support the care for children suffering from congenital or traumatic limb amputations.  Many of these children have either endured gunshot or bombing injuries in Gaza, or were born with defects that required amputations.  Join us to ensure that these kids get the care they need to be mobile and regain hope once again!

  • Please note that this event was originally planned for Saturday, February 05th, and has been rescheduled to Saturday, February 26th due to harsh weather conditions for the safety of our community.
  • Register online early by using the form linked above.  Same-day registration will also be available at the park from 8:30 – 9:00 am.
  • Participants who register by January 25 will be guaranteed a PCRF T-shirt in your designated size.  After this date, T-shirts are subject to availability.
  • Primary walk area will be the Lake Loop as shown in the map below.  Participants can walk as many loops as they would like.
  • Water and fruits will be provided.
  • Participants are encouraged to stay 6 feet apart from others who do not live with you.  If social distancing is not possible, please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth to help protect yourself and others.  Masks will be provided for those who need one.
