PCRF’s Delaware chapter held its Annual Benefit Dinner on Sunday, September 25th, in support of PCRF’s Gaza Amputee Project. This was the Delaware Chapter’s first event since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and was a great opportunity to reconnect with the community for a great cause, including representatives from local organizations that partner with PCRF, and two state congresswomen.
The Dinner included a great speech by Dr. Ali Anaim about orthopedic issues and his upcoming medical mission. The Delaware Chapter also announced the Therapeutic Music Program they have been working on, which will begin in Gaza in October. A special thank you to Sarah Joseph for making a beautiful PCRF-themed cake and providing the attendees with olive oil from the Nidal family olive grove in Palestine. Another warm thank you to Reverend Greg Jones of Westminster Presbyterian Church for invocating this event. We are proud to announce the recipients of this year’s Delaware chapter awards. Congratulations to Mrs. Eileen Mallouk for receiving the Huda Al Masri Humanitarian Award, and Mahmoud Salhab, CRNA for receiving the Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Humanitarian Award!
Thank you to our dedicated Delaware Steering Committee volunteers for working hard to make this event possible, and to all the donors, attendees, and volunteers for their support for PCRF.
