This week PCRF purchased urgently needed chemotherapy drugs for sick children in Gaza fighting cancer. Before we opened the Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Pediatric Cancer Department there, all kids with cancer had to be transferred out from their families for costly and painful treatment. To help support the health system there, we provided 1500 high-dose vials of Methotrexate to the department, enabling kids like 10-year-old  Diaa to be treated near his family, as he is treated for leukemia. The shortage if these important cancer drugs in Gaza is an urgent health crisis that needs immediate international attention
