The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is conducting three vital medical missions this week across the West Bank, providing life-changing surgeries and medical care to children in need. These missions are part of PCRF’s commitment to ensuring that every child in Palestine has access to quality healthcare without the need to travel abroad.
In Ramallah, under the leadership of Dr. Sameh Said, Palestine Medical Complex witnessed the first-ever congenital heart surgeries performed in Palestine. These surgeries offer children with heart conditions a chance at a healthier future, enabling them to live without pain and enjoy a better quality of life.
At Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, Dr. Khaled Abu Ghazalah led a Maxillofacial Mission, where dozens of patients were evaluated and many received critical surgical care. This mission provided essential treatments to restore function and improve lives, particularly for children with complex maxillofacial conditions.
In Hebron, at Halhoul Hospital, Dr. Imad Tamimi performed cleft lip and palate surgeries, restoring smiles and boosting confidence for young children. These transformative surgeries help children embrace life with renewed self-esteem and hope for the future.
These medical missions reflect the heart of PCRF’s mission: to provide access to specialized medical care, support family dreams, and offer every child the opportunity to thrive. Behind every surgery is a child’s heartbeat, a parent’s prayer, and a family’s hope for a brighter tomorrow.
PCRF extends its deep gratitude to the volunteer doctors whose generosity and expertise make these missions possible, changing lives and creating lasting impacts.
