Dr. Imad Tamimi is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive experience in private practice, hospital leadership, education, and humanitarian medicine.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), followed by a General Practice Residency at Jersey City Medical Center and a one-year fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He then completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through Seton Hall University/Jersey City Medical Center.

Dr. Tamimi currently practices in Clifton, New Jersey, and serves as Chief of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Jersey City Medical Center. His career has also included academic appointments at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and New York Medical College, as well as serving as Section Head and Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tamimi has lectured nationally and internationally, trained oral surgery residents and dental students, and held several professional leadership positions. In 2014, he was honored as Attending of the Year at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Tamimi is deeply committed to humanitarian medicine. He has participated in numerous medical missions and currently serves as President of the Medical Advisory Board for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF).

Dr. Tamimi remains dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while advancing the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through education, leadership, and continued professional development.
