Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh is a Chicago-based, board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and accomplished humanitarian leader with more than two decades of experience in global health, nonprofit governance, and community development. A graduate of the University of Jordan, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Illinois at Chicago, he has dedicated much of his career to expanding access to healthcare, education, and opportunity for underserved communities.

 

Since 2005, Dr. Abughazaleh has led more than 50 medical missions to the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, and Lebanon through the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). He served six years as Chairman of the PCRF Board of Directors and also chaired its Medical Advisory Board, helping provide strategic direction and advance the organization’s growth and humanitarian impact.

Committed to building strong and sustainable institutions, Dr. Abughazaleh serves on the boards of the Palestine Student Scholarship Fund and the Chicago Downtown Islamic Center. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to service, philanthropy, and helping the underserved.

 

He is a recipient of the 2019 American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Humanitarian Award.
