Abdullah returns to Gaza and joins our Amputee Summer Camp

16-year-old. Abdulla was treated over the summer of 2023 in Columbus, Ohio, after losing his leg to cancer as a child. His treatment enabled him to walk again and become more independent, thanks to our Columbus PCRF Chapter. Abdullah returned home in time to join our amputee summer camp in Gaza, where he expressed his thanks to all of the volunteers and the organization for helping him.

Opening the Shireen Abu Akleh Emergency Department in Jenin Hospital

On June 7, 2023, PCRF opened a new emergency department in the Jenin Government Hospital in the northern West Bank in the name of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed while working as a journalist in Jenin on May 11, 2022.
