The crisis in Gaza has left tens of thousands of children and family deeply traumatized, with many experiencing severe psychological distress due to direct exposure to violence and displacement.
Following the 2014 war, PCRF launched this initiative to provide urgent Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) to affected children. By 2018, our focus expanded to training local Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), strengthening their capacity to address the growing mental health crisis.
With the 2023 crisis in Gaza, the need for mental health interventions is more urgent than ever. Our team is actively providing individual and group therapy, recreational activities, awareness sessions, and family counseling to help children cope, heal, and rebuild their sense of security.
This initiative is a lifeline for Gaza’s children, but the journey to recovery is long. Your support ensures that these young survivors receive the care, guidance, and emotional support they need to heal. Together, we can help them reclaim hope.
