At the Chancellor's Student Service & Leadership Awards ceremony in May, PCRF at UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) achieved something truly incredible. PCRF was honored with not just one but TWO awards!

Firstly, the chapter proudly received the J. Rex Toliver Distinguished Service Org Award, recognizing the organization's outstanding commitment to service and making a positive impact. This award is a testament to the incredible growth and accomplishments of PCRF at UIC.
Secondly, the team was humbled to receive the Commitment to Diversity Award, acknowledging our dedication to fostering inclusivity and creating a welcoming community. This award resonates deeply with our core values and reinforces our mission of advocating for humanitarian efforts within Palestine and the Middle East.

Throughout this school year, the PCRF-UIC Student Club continuously surpassed their goals, including their ambitious fundraising target of $10,000, and raised close to $18,000! This tremendous achievement is a testament to the unwavering support of their incredible community.

We are very proud and thankful to this energetic and creative group of students who were led by President of PCRF-UIC Miriam Elayyan. Their incredible dedication, hard work, and commitment has made this past year a remarkable success. We are also grateful to Dr. Sahar Alrayyes, who has served as PCRF-UIC's faculty advisor since 2015, for her guidance to the team and to the members of the Chicago Chapter for taking the students under their wing.

Let's continue making a positive impact and advocating for a better world. Onwards and upwards!
