On Monday July 10th, 2023, our PCRF-Chicago chapter hosted their 3rd annual Pars-For-Palestine Golf Outing. The event was a great success through the hard work of our volunteers and support from our Chicago community members, supporters, friends. The sunny day started off with lunch on the patio of the beautiful course at the Midlothian Country Club, which included special guests PCRF President & Founder Steve Sosebee and 8-year old Saleh, a travel case from Gaza who is in Detroit for a prosthetic leg. The lunch was followed by the golfers hitting the course, and ending the event with a dinner program that included; and update on projects sponsored by last year's Pars For Palestine event. Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh shared important updates on Chicago chapter sponsored projects, and the need to support another important project in Gaza this year. PCRF Chairman of the board Vivian Khalaf attended the dinner segment and extended her appreciation to the community and the chapter for their ongoing support. Guests enjoyed a lovely selection of silent auction and raffle prizes which were all donated and collected to benefit this unique event.
