On Saturday May 21st, and Sunday May 22nd , 149 runners and walkers from various US, Canadian cities and from Palestine participated in the Union Home mortgage Cleveland MaraTHon through the PCRF-Cleveland Chapter as Team Palestine for the PCRF. The marathon included several distances; 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon and a Full-Marathon (26.2 Miles). Several of the participants placed top 20 within their age group and in the overall marathon:

- Layali Jadallah finishing 16th overall for women in the half marathon with 1:36:44 time
- And lastly, Mira Jadallah finishing first in her age group 15-19 years old with 1:46:15 time!
This initiative brought awareness and raised over $50,000 to benefit PCRF's Gaza Mental Health Program. The team ran past many of their family, friends and supporters along the course, who spent long hours following and tracking their loved ones, looking out for our marathoners, waving flags, cheering and offering a boost of energy and reminder of who their endurance and dedication is all about. We thank our Cleveland Chapter for organizing this heartwarming event and all who participated as runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and cheerleaders, and congratulate the team on a job well done.
