The PCRF-Houston chapter held yet another very successful iftar dinner on Saturday April 8th, 2023. The dinner was a lovely opportunity for the volunteers to break their fast with dedicated supporters of PCRF while raising funds for two important projects; the first is for medical shoes for children in Gaza, and the second is to establish a primary healthcare clinic in the small village of Tubas in Palestine.
Highlights of the event included a first-hand account of the need in the Jordan Valley from journalist Yumna Patel in a segment titled ‘Stories from Within ‘. In addition to this, their very own Houston Chapters medical affairs coordinator, Dr. Greg Stocks spoke about his experiences with PCRF including 6 missions to Palestine as well as care for children brought to Houston for treatment. We are thankful for the efforts and dedication of the Houston chapter and the generosity of their community for their continued support.
