Volunteer with PCRF
COMPLETE THE FORM
Behind every mission, every child receiving medical care, and every family finding support through the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is a community of volunteers who make it possible.
Since 1992, PCRF has relied on the dedication, expertise, and generosity of volunteers to fulfill its mission. Volunteer physicians and nurses have joined medical missions across the Middle East, treating tens of thousands of children. Volunteer physicians and hospitals have provided our patients with treatment in the United States and elsewhere. Volunteer families have opened their homes to children traveling for care, while chapter members and student volunteers have brought communities together to raise funds and awareness.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you bring medical expertise, time, professional skills, or a desire to make a difference in your community, there is a place for you at PCRF.
Find Your Way to Make an Impact: Community, Chapter, and Student Volunteer Opportunities
Bring people together. Raise awareness. Help children receive the care they deserve.
PCRF volunteers turn compassion into action in their communities. Through fundraising, awareness initiatives, community events, and hands-on support for children receiving treatment abroad, they help extend our reach and make our work possible.
You can get involved through our US chapters, student clubs, treatment-abroad support, or international chapters.
US Chapters and Student Clubs
PCRF has 21 chapters across the United States and 10 student clubs, bringing together people who believe every child deserves access to the medical care they need.
Our volunteers help turn that belief into action by:
- Organizing fundraising events to support PCRF's medical and humanitarian programs.
- Raising awareness about the needs of children and how PCRF is helping meet them.
- Engaging schools, universities, and local communities in our mission.
- Building partnerships and inspiring more people to get involved.
- Using their skills, expertise, and professional connections to advance PCRF’s mission and turn awareness into action.
Whether you're helping organize an event, bringing people together, or starting a student club, your efforts can help more children access the care they need.
Treatment-Abroad Volunteer Support
For children traveling to receive medical treatment, having a welcoming community around them can make a world of difference. Volunteers help children and their companions navigate an unfamiliar place, feel supported, and focus on the child's care.
You can make a difference by:
- Hosting children and their companions: Welcoming patients into volunteer homes and helping them feel safe and supported during treatment.
- Transportation and appointments: Providing rides to hospitals, accompanying families to medical appointments, and helping them navigate their schedules.
- Translation and communication: Helping families communicate with healthcare providers and access the information they need.
- Community activities: Organizing gatherings, outings, and age-appropriate activities that give children opportunities to connect, play, and enjoy being children.
- Everyday support: Helping families navigate their surroundings, access community resources, and feel less alone while away from home.
Sometimes, the most meaningful support comes from knowing someone is there to help. Your time and kindness can make a difficult journey a little easier for a child and their family.
International Chapters
PCRF has three registered international chapters in Italy, Switzerland, and Australia, with growing initiatives in other areas across the world.
Our international chapters bring people together across borders to champion children's access to medical care. Registered under the laws of their respective countries, they raise awareness, engage local communities, and fundraise for PCRF projects that matter to their supporters.
As we work to expand our international presence, we welcome people who want to build a local community around our mission, inspire others to get involved, and help bring care to children who need it.
Ready to Make a Difference?
