Medical Team Screen Refugees in Jordan

This week, Dr. Zeena Salman, a pediatrician from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, screened dozens of Syrian refugee children in northern Jordan as part of the PCRF's efforts to identify children in need of care, and provide them the treatment and support that they need. Also joining her was orthopedic surgeon Dr. Omar Shboul. Two weeks ago, Dr. Salman led a similar mission to Syrian camps in Lebanon and helped to screen and treat hundreds of Syrian refugee children there. The PCRF is dedicated to helping any child get the treatment that they need, and basic pediatric care is often not available for these kids.
