Three hundred orphaned children from the Gaza Strip received their monthly sponsorship from the supermarket within the Orphan Monthly Sponsorship Program funded by the Zakat Foundation of America and implemented by the PCRF. This program helps to alleviate the burden of financial and emotional stress for orphan families who do not have income. Eighty-five orphaned children in the southern Gaza Strip shopped for their food needs and hygiene supplies from the supermarket.
