This week, a four-member team of doctors returned to Alia Hospital in the West Bank town of Hebron to provide maxillofacial surgery on children with cleft lip and palate needs. Led by New Jersey-based surgeon Dr. Imad Tamimi, the team includes returning volunteer surgeons Dr. Raymundo Ramirez and Dr. Yazan Abu Khalaf, and anesthesiologist Dr. Yukiko Ohara.
The PCRF is cooperating with Smile Train to support the cleft lip and palate operations for children in the Middle East and have provided thousands of kids corrective surgery over the past twenty years.
