New Dialysis Hospital for Refugees Starts Treating Patients in Lebanon

On February 20th, the first dialysis session at the new Palestine Red Crescent Society kidney care unit in the Beddawi refugee camp was provided to a patient in need. The new department started on a small scale of three patients, and will soon grow to care for thirty-one refugees who currently have to travel hours to Beirut or Saida a few times a week for dialysis care. The PCRF jointed with Health Care Society, The Welfare Fund, the PRCS, Islamic Relief, UNICEF and Ebco Bitar. We are happy to join such prestigious organizations to help bring health care and better local services to the needy refugee population there.
