Palestinian Girl Recovering After Surgery in California

Ten-year-old Toqa Iqnaibi is recovering after undergoing orthopedic surgery at the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Los Angeles. The girl suffers from multiple orthopedic deformities in her back and lower limbs that left her in pain and unable to walk correctly. She underwent surgery by Dr. Selina Poon three weeks ago and has started physical therapy to help her regain her strength and ability to walk again. She is being hosted by our Southern California PCRF chapter, who have cared for dozens of children through the PCRF since we were founded. We would like to thank the doctors and therapists at the Shriners Hospital as well as the support of our chapter, and volunteers.
