Palestinian Girl Returns Home with a new customized prosthetic leg

Ranea Hegeh is a ten year old Palestinian girl from Hebron. After arriving to Chicago a little over a month ago, she embarked on the journey to return to her family and home. She underwent treatment to receive a brand new customized prosthetic leg at the Ann and Robert H Luries Hospital. Ranea was born with leg deformity that left her needing a prosthetic leg to walk at a very early age. She was under the care of Adam Zastrow who ensured she received the perfect new prosthesis. Our PCRF Chicago chapter along with volunteers from the Chicago community hosted Ranea while she received this treatment. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to ensure she received the care she needed.
