13-year-old Reem Sarar is a Palestinian refugee in Jordan who was sponsored through the PCRF's One-Time Sponsorship Program for ophthalmic surgery by Dr. Shadi Alkhateeb at Roya Center. The PCRF continues to be the main NGO in the Middle East arranging medical care for children who otherwise cannot get the treatment they need locally.
