In the heart of Gaza’s ongoing humanitarian emergency, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) continues to deliver essential mental health care for children affected by war, displacement, and loss. This week, PCRF’s trained mental health team conducted therapeutic sessions across shelters and displacement centers in the north, center, and south of the Strip.
These group sessions provide a safe and nurturing space where children can begin to heal from trauma. Activities such as drawing, play-based therapy, storytelling, and group games help children express emotions, rebuild a sense of normalcy, and develop coping skills for ongoing uncertainty.
In war-torn Gaza, where children face extreme psychological pressure due to violence, hunger, and displacement, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) is one of the leading organizations delivering trauma-focused care. By creating emotional safety, PCRF helps children in Gaza recover from psychological wounds and find light in the midst of darkness.
