This week, Loma Linda Hospital in California Pediatric Cardiologist Dr. Assad Alhroob began providing interventional pediatric cardiac care in the catheterization lab in the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis. This is Dr. Alhroob's second mission to Gaza for the PCRF and he brought a variety of supplies with him to provide interventional care for children in Gaza who are born with congenital heart conditions. He is also helping to train the local staff in pediatric cardiology and to help reduce the need for patients to go outside of Gaza for care that should be available to them there.
