Two Iraqi Girls Sent to India for Lifesaving Surgery

This week, the PCRF sponsored two Iraqi children to go to India for life-saving open-heart surgery. 13-month-old Zainab Abdulghani and 19-month-old Umalbaneen Alzubaidi were born with heart defects, and both girls desperately need open-heart surgery to survive. The PCRF cooperated again with The Chain of Hope UK charity to send the girls and their mothers to Bangalore for surgery. They are currently undergoing testing and will be soon be scheduled for surgery at Narayana Hospital. Cardiac cases in Palestine are treated through our missions there, and we sponsor surgery in Lebanon and Jordan for Syrian and Palestinian children, but for Iraqi kids, we work with CoH to arrange their care in India through our one-time sponsorship program.
