Today two volunteer surgery teams from Italy crossed into Gaza to start a week of surgery at Shifa Hospital.  The two teams are operating in pediatric surgery and pediatric urology. The team members include pediatric surgeons Prof. Bruno Cigliano and  Dr. Sergio D’Agostino,  pediatric urologist  Dr. Antonio Savanelli, and anesthesiologist Dr. Domenico Faticato.  Italy is one of the main countries sending Surgery teams to Palestine through PCRF. PCRF also has a chapter in Italy.
