A 25-year-old who experienced a life-changing injury in 2013, resulting in the loss of his leg

"Initially, I felt that my life had come to an end. However, with the unwavering support of my parents and the presence of the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, I found the strength to rebuild my life. They facilitated the provision of a prosthetic limb for me in the United States, an incredible experience that enabled me to regain a sense of normalcy and acceptance of my disability. I have turned this perceived deficiency into a source of inspiration and blessing. Basketball holds a special place in my heart and is a significant personal passion. I devote a great deal of time to practicing and honing my skills in this sport. Over time, I have evolved as a player and proudly represent the Palestinian national team, competing on international platforms and achieving notable victories and prestigious rankings. Currently, I am honored to serve as a field worker for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. In this role, my primary mission is to closely monitor the needs of vulnerable children and families and provide them with the necessary assistance and support. I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children, striving to improve their overall well-being and contribute meaningfully to society."
