Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund Switzerland (PCRF Switzerland) is a non-profit association based in the canton of Zurich. It was founded by committed volunteers dedicated to supporting children in need.
The association operates independently of any political or religious affiliation and provides humanitarian aid and medical support to children throughout the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) – regardless of nationality or religion.
PCRF Switzerland is non-commercial and run entirely by volunteers. In close collaboration with the global PCRF organization, we ensure that your donations are used efficiently and purposefully. Despite this cooperation, PCRF Switzerland operates as an independent national organization in full compliance with applicable Swiss legal and regulatory frameworks.
Together with the international PCRF network, we implement targeted aid projects for children – with a clear contribution from Switzerland. This includes fundraising, medical expertise, and volunteer engagement aimed at improving health and living conditions on the ground.
Our core activities include organizing benefit events to raise funds, foster awareness, and strengthen a sense of community. The proceeds go directly toward humanitarian aid and the improvement of healthcare services for children in crisis regions.
In addition, we maintain a database of European doctors and other medical professionals who either offer advisory support or have expressed interest in participating in international medical missions. These missions are coordinated in collaboration with the global PCRF and its partners in the West Bank, Jordan, and Lebanon.

The Palestine Children's Relief Fund was established in 1992 in the United States to provide free medical care to seriously ill children in the Middle East who could not receive adequate treatment in their home countries. Since then, PCRF has sent more than 2,000 sick and injured children abroad for care and has supported hundreds of volunteer medical teams from around the world, who have treated tens of thousands of pediatric patients in local hospitals. PCRF has established the only two pediatric oncology departments in Palestine and implements numerous other programs and projects to support the development of a sustainable local healthcare system. We are a grassroots organization that relies on the support of thousands of volunteers worldwide who help us fulfill our humanitarian mission.
We envision a world where all children in the Middle East have access to quality medical care, humanitarian aid, and specialized surgical procedures.
