Dr. R. Aaron Robison is a pediatric neurosurgeon at Loma Linda University. He specializes in the treatment of children with various neurological disorders, specifically cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy, as well as other congenital and oncologic diseases. Dr. Robison learned the value of giving early in his life, as his parents were both missionaries in India. From this experience as a child, he knew he wanted to pursue medicine, and help to heal children all across the world. Dr. Robison studied at the University of Washington in St. Louis, and did his residency at USC. Since completing his medical degree and specialization, Dr. Robison has led a handful of missions with the PCRF, to treat the most sensitive Pediatric Neurology cases in Palestine, and to help train the local physicians there. Notably, in June of 2019, Dr. Robison was able to operate on a 7-month-old girl who was shot in the head 3 months prior, as her mother held her near a checkpoint in the West Bank. The doctors in Palestine were not able to remove the bullet and after 3 weeks in the ICU, sent the child home. Until, the PCRF Pediatric Neurosurgery mission to Nablus led by Dr. Robison arrived. In Palestine, Dr. Robison and his team were able to remove the bullet from the child’s head, and save her from a lifetime of medical complications.
