16-year-old Has a New Leg Built in Gaza

PCRF is the main nonprofit working in Gaza to provide care and support for amputee children.  This week, 16-year-old Ahmed from Gaza City, who had a traffic accident when he was three years old, that took his left leg above the knee.  He suffers from a very short stump that makes the design of a prosthesis challenging. PCRF is sponsoring Ahmad's follow up at Hamad Hospital and the building of a new prosthesis.  This week he had therapy to learn to walk with it.  Dozens of children are getting such care through our special project to help these kids.
