This week, three volunteers from the USA entered the Gaza Strip to evaluate the quality of prosthetic and orthopedic care there so to better support the development and patient care. Led by Dr. Anna Cuomo, who has lead several past volunteer missions to Palestine for the PCRF, and including physiotherapist Melissa Howard and the specialist prostheses Matthew Morrison, the team met with past follow-up cases, and visited the center of artificial limbs and the Hamad Bin Khalifa Rehabilitation Hospital.
