Despite the widespread destruction of Gaza, PCRF continues its program for amputees.  17-year-old Abdullah from Gaza City suffered a gunshot injury to his leg leg three years ago during a a border demonstration which cost him his right leg above the knee. Abdullah suffers from a very short stump and we provided him elbow crutches to help him stay mobile while we work on getting him the treatment that he needs. Our amputee program is the only one in Gaza who is providing all of the children with amputations prosthetic limbs and other mental health and other support needed to improve their lives.
