Led by Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh, PCRF Chairman of the Board Of Directors and maxillofacial surgeon, the team screened 39 cases who suffer from cleft lip and palate deformities, and scheduled 24 surgeries.
The team includes: Dr. Yasser Wafai, a Chicago-based anesthesiologist; Dr. Fernando Sandoval from Ecuador; Dr. Juan Carlos Lopez from Mexico; Dr. Juan Carlos Lastra from Mexico; Dr. Aziza Nassar, Nablus-based orthodontist and member of the PCRF Board of Directors; Dr. Yara Suhail Flaifl, dentist; Dr. Laith Kailany, Amman-based general practitioner; and Dr. Motaz Barakat, a first-year resident.
This mission is in partnership with Islamic Relief.
