This week, Dr. Francis Nathan, an ophthalmic surgeon from Australia, returned to Rafidiah Hospital in Nablus to provide sight-saving surgery for patients. Dr. Nathan has been on over 20 volunteer missions with the PCRF to the West Bank, Lebanon, and Gaza over the past ten-plus years, and has saved the sight of thousands of poor and needy patients. We recently purchased a phaco machine for Rafidiah Hospital to improve the quality of ophthalmic care there, and hope to improve the quality of eye surgery in the future.
