The Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza recently organized a scientific conference on general surgery at the Al-Mashtal Hotel, taking place on May 23rd-24th, 2023. Distinguished medical professionals, such as Dr. Mads Gilbert from Norway and Dr. Orhan Ali Oğlu from Turkey, were among the attendees, presenting their research papers. The collaboration between Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Oğlu, and the local surgeons in Gaza was made possible through the efforts of PCRF. The participation of these esteemed doctors in the conference fostered the exchange of knowledge. It facilitated the professional growth among the local surgeons in Gaza, contributing significantly to the advancement of healthcare in Palestine.
