This week a four-member volunteer Egyptian cleft lip and palate surgery team arrived in Lebanon to provide surgery on refugee children. The team is from Al Mansoura University Hospital and are volunteering at the PRCS Al Hamshari Hospital in Saida, Lebanon. The team is lead by surgeon Dr Mohammad Sherbieneh and include surgeon Dr. Adham Al Saied, anesthesiologist Dr. Methat Gerges, local maxillofacial surgeon
Dr. Adnan Zakzak, and Dr. Mohammad Mearie, a local ENT surgeon from PRCS. The team will operate on 19 refugee cases in the week.
