Gaza Boy Continues Treatment in Philadelphia
Gaza Boy Continues Treatment in Philadelphia

Last fall fourteen year old Abdullah from the Khan Younis Refugee Camp in Gaza traveled to Philadelphia for orthopedic surgery. Abdullah completed the first portion of his care last year and underwent the second stage earlier this year. His care is being provided at the Shriners Hospital for Children. He was with a congenital deformity of his right hip and femur, making it difficult to walk. This treatment aims to improve his ability to walk without pain. Abdallah was cleared at his appointment yesterday and his final surgery is scheduled for next month. PCRF is grateful to the Philadelphia chapter who continue to support him during his stay there.
