Our two pediatric cancer departments - the Huda Al Masri Department in Beit Jala and the Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Department in Gaza - are increasingly cooperating on the treatment of children from Gaza.  A good example is 4-year-old Elias  Gaza, who was diagnosed at the Dr. Musa and Suhaila Nasir Department with leukemia and was sent for testing and induction in Beit Jala.   After completing treatment in our Huda Al-Masri Department we returned to Gaza, where he continued care in our new department in Rantisi Hospital.  Due to the risks associated with the coronavirus we had to close the playroom but continue to support child-life services for children in their rooms.
