Gaza Teen Recovering from Surgery in Philadelphia
Gaza Teen Recovering from Surgery in Philadelphia

Last fall 14-year-old Abdullah from the Khan Younis Refugee Camp in Gaza was sent by PCRF to Philadelphia for orthopedic surgery not available to him in Palestine.  This week, Abdullah's orthopedic surgeries are being completed at the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children there. He was born with a congenital deformity of his right hip and femur, causing him to have difficulty walking. This week's surgery is his final procedure before he goes home to Gaza and his family.  He is being cared for by volunteers in the PCRF Philadelphia Chapter.  PCRF is the main nonprofit in the world sending injured kids outside for free care that they cannot get locally,  To support sending children like Abdullah abroad for treatment, please click here.
