This week, the German maxillofacial and plastic surgery team started the weeklong mission at Rafida Hospital in the city of Nablus in the West Bank. Surgeon Dr. Walid Ayad leads the maxillofacial mission. Surgeon Dr. Ana Filipa Almedia Olivera leads the plastic surgery mission. Dr. Walid Ayad is part of the oral & maxillofacial surgery committee on our medical advisory board and gives his time leading medical missions to Palestine with PCRF. These missions are in cooperation between PCRF and Hammer Forum, a German NGO.
