During the first week of December, a four-member team of volunteers from the USA arrived in the Palestine Medical Complex in the West Bank town of Ramallah to provide training for local surgeons and treatment for children with hand deformities. Led by El Paso, Texas surgeon Dr. Jose J. Monsivais, who has led several past missions with the PCRF, the team included anesthesiologist Dr. Kevin Healy, on his 20th mission with the PCRF, nurse Monica Chavez and Dr. Jawad Khan.
