This week, a three-member team of doctors from the Islamic Medical Association of North America finished a plastic and reconstructive surgery trip to Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem. The team included plastic surgeon Dr. Khalique Zahhir, anesthesiologist Dr. Ismail Mehr, and CRNA anesthesiologist Dr. Taqi Salaam. This is the first surgical mission between IMANA and the PCRF, who signed an MOU to cooperate on volunteer surgery missions to the West Bank and Gaza in the future. We are grateful to them for their hard work and dedication and look forward to working together in the future to help more children in need.
