In late July 16-year old Adam from Gaza was sent by PCRF to Kansas City for a new leg after the boy suffered a gunshot injury that took his leg. Adam is being treated by Decker Integrated Orthotics and Prosthetics and prosthetist Loren Decker, with the sponsorship of the Steps of Faith Foundation.

Adam will soon receive his prosthetic and walk again for the first time since his injury. Here is Adam testing his new leg and taking his first steps. He took his prosthetic home to practice walking, and will soon begin physical therapy as he gains strength with his new prosthetic. Adam is being hosted by a kind volunteer family in the Kansas City area.
