Early this year fifteen-year old Ilham from Ramallah was sent with her mother to Chicago for surgical care of a lower limb, which was the result of an accident in 2013. Ilham has undergone eight surgeries in Palestine but needed to complete a lengthening and corrective surgery, which could not be provided locally. This week she underwent surgery at the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children. They are being supported by volunteers from our Chicago chapter.
