The management of the European Gaza Hospital, represented by the director of the hospital, Dr. Yousef Al-Akkad, honored the Italian Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy Mission led by Dr. Rita Conigliaro. The plaque was given in appreciation of their efforts in the medical mission and in appreciation for performing many qualitative and complex operations at the European Gaza Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip. Fifteen successful operations were performed throughout the mission.
