PCRF Provides Solar Power System for Hospital in Gaza

This week we opened a 15 kW solar power system to the main mental health hospital in Gaza City, ensuring that patients who are suffering from psychological and psychiatric issues, as well as the staff treating them, will not suffer from electrical shortages, which impacts their treatment.

Gaza has been suffering for over a decade from electricity shortages, and this is one of the biggest challenges facing the medical sectors there. Solar energy is the best alternative to solve this problem, which keeps the environment clean as well as it meet the needs of the hospital during the hours of interruption. This project was made possible through a generous donor in Jordan.

PCRF is one of the most important humanitarian organizations that support the infrastructure of hospitals and clinics in Gaza, not only by providing volunteer surgery teams to treat patients and train local doctors, but also addressing weaknesses in the health sector.
