From Amputees to Field Workers: A Tale of Empowerment and Resiliency
From Amputees to Field Workers: A Tale of Empowerment and Resiliency

In a heartwarming turn of events, former beneficiaries of PCRF's Amputee Program have taken on new roles as field workers, actively contributing to the operation of the Ability Summer Camp in Gaza this July. This remarkable program, the only one of its kind in the Middle East, has been a beacon of hope for over 120 amputee youth in Gaza.

These young individuals, once facing the challenges of limb loss, have now transformed their own experiences into sources of inspiration for others. As field workers, they provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the camp participants, instilling hope and empowering them to overcome their own obstacles.

Their journey from camp beneficiaries to invaluable team members is a testament to the indomitable human spirit and the transformative power of empathy and opportunity. PCRF is immensely proud of these individuals and grateful for their dedication in creating a nurturing environment where resilience and personal growth thrive.
