Leen is a 7-month-old beacon of strength. She has battled through severe infantile spasms that left her unable to interact or even smile, changing her life and that of her family overnight. Israel’s blockade on Gaza has made it nearly impossible for Leen to obtain the necessary medical treatments.
Thanks to the State of Qatar and our Treatment Abroad Team, Leen has been evacuated with her family to Qatar for medical care.
Leen is the 11th child to receive lifesaving treatment abroad through our dedicated team. Her journey from suffering in silence to receiving hope and care embodies the resilience of the Palestinian spirit in the face of adversity.
